I just imagine I'm on a rather lengthy sabbatical.... Adding protein to a smoothie is always an option, but the supplements also contain calcium, vitamins and minerals, plus a whole host of other nutrients such as glutamine in the proper proportion for optimal healing. If they're not up your alley that's fine. I just wouldn't want to turn anyone off of them because they're afraid of breakouts.
