Guest guest
Hi Carol, I am 6 months post now too (july 22 surgery). I have the same type of problem that you do. My jawline was always asymetrical, but with the receeded position of the jaw, even I hardly noticed it. But now with everything moved forward and up on the lower jaw, it really bothers me. As with you, my doc says he can work on it in the office, shave from one area, add implant to the other maybe. I have had 2 surgeries on the lower jaw and it is very " bumpy " from being cut and moved. My doc also mentioned a custom implant I thing made of coral. I think I will have something done, as like you, we've been through so much, and I have a lot of years left to look at this face every day. Are we being too vain?? Let me know what you do. a > Hey All! > > Hope someone out there can help.
