Guest guest Posted February 20, 2004 Report Share Posted February 20, 2004 hi marsha! i wish so badly that i could tell you i slept the whole way thru the hospital....but in actuality did not sleep a wink for 2 days. EVERYONE is different tho...so don't let that freak you out too badly. i just could not get comfortable and was having trouble swallowing...and THOUGHT i could not breathe well. in all honesty...i was just panicking, and was getting tons of air, LOL. just try and get comfy...whether that is in the chair or bed in the hosptial room, and realize it is only a couple of days....when you get home you will be SO much more comfortable...and now i sleep lots!! it is a difficult experience, mentally and physically...but you can do it...i promise!!! just hang in there, maybe learn a mantra to calm you if you have trouble sleeping....and good luck!!! feel free to post any other questions...all i have is time right now!
