Re: Head/ear congestion, but nose feels fine?

Hey Jess, I am seven weeks post op, and I still have ear and head

congestion, while my nose is fine. Manual Lymph Drainage therapy is

helping with some of the drainage, but I have to say that my ears

have been plugged since the surgery. My surgeon says it is all due

to the swelling and the fluid involved. My physical therapist thinks

it will take at least 3 months to resolve. You should have some

resolution from the congestion once you are able to blow your nose

though, which is usually not until 5-6 weeks post op..might have to

ask your os about it. Sorry you're experiencing it, I know it's not

all that pleasant! Alix
