Guest guest
Sue, I also had a gummy smile, fixed by upper jaw surgery -I've also had lower surgery 2 weeks ago. I would think get it all over with at once, but of cause it is a big procedure, but it is surprising how quickly you start to bounce back from the surgery. However I would say over and over to anyone, the fitter you are and the mentally tougher you are the quicker you bounce back. Also a good diet (liquid of cause) straight after surgery helps heaps too. I have started Thai Kick Boxing again (no contact!) 9 days after lower jaw, genioplasty and rhinoplasty -I still get a bit tired if I have too long a day though. Now 2 weeks post surgery. For the record I am 45, also wanting my braces off, alas at least 6 months more. > Hi everyone > > Finally had my surgeon consult today after my ortho deemed me ready > for surgery. > > Firstly he allayed my fears and said going to Australia in early > August wouln't be a problem.
