First step is to read around in the back posts here, and to look at susan fiddlesticks' geocities site, where there are a number of FAQs posted. Then if you have specific questions, ask away. Most people find that the anticipation is a lot worse than the actual surgery and/or recovery, although many do not think that for the first week or two post op. But you'll get through it.
