Guest guest Posted March 4, 2004 Report Share Posted March 4, 2004 Well, I am coming up on 11 months now and I still have numbness in my chin, part of my lower lip and a spot on my cheek. Or do I. Yesterday I went for a cleaning and dental probing and while it was happening, I felt a twinge of pain on the spot where my cheek is numb. Even though I still have the numbness feeling, when I poke the skin with something sharp, I can feel it although it does not feel like a sharp pain, I can feel it being sharp. It seems like the numbess is kind of gone but the puffy feeling is still there. Seems wierd. Am I detailing correctly and some other people might be feeling the same way. I called the surgeons office to ask about this today. They are supposed to call back this afternoon. I have a follow up appointment at the end of the month.
