I decided to go with the upper and lower - he'll shorten the upper by about 3mm (he also said widen but I forgot to ask how!) and lower moved forward by about 10mm. Don't know whether to laugh or cry. I felt quite elated when I left the hospital. Anyway I'll have time to stuff any chocolate Easter eggs before the enforced food restrictions! - don't tell my ortho! plus it will still be school holidays so I can hide for a few days before I have to think about going on the school run.
