Guest guest Posted February 19, 2004 Report Share Posted February 19, 2004 Hello. I'm new to the group and am getting set for surgery on both jaws March 11. I had had surgery September 2002 to split my palate and put in an expander for Phase 1. I was ready mentally for what that post op was going to be like which made it tougher than it had to be. This time (far more major), I'm looking for advice on what you wish people had told you prior to surgery. Little things even, like what to eat, what to warn your mom about (I'm 40 but she still worries), when you can have visitors, go back to work... Thanks in advance!
