Hi Kate, my name is Katy from the uk, known to the boards as Kat_uk.

im not sure about the cost of surgery, i think that it could be free

or of a certain percentage of the cost if for a medical

reason/referral. i had my surgery done at 17, upper and lower jaw

surgery. i know that the operation alone was meant to be £30,000.

however one thing about the nhs is the waiting list. i have been

working towards surgery since the age of 12, understandably there

was a time period to allow growth, but i would say i was on the

waiting list for at least 2years, and was wearing braces, still am

after 7 years. 2years pot op this august. hope this helps, if you

want to ask questions about the surgery and procedures you've come

to the right place. good luck in your decsion making,

kind regards
