I did the same thing as you! My upper jaw surgery was

December 17, so i'm almost to 6 weeks post-op. I knew

i wouldn't be able to eat " normal " food for a long

long time, so i ate whatever my body craved. normally

i'm very health conscious, but it kinda felt good not

caring what i was eating and just trying to enjoy the

whole experience. my last dinner was also a big steak

dinner. i ate so much i had to be rolled out of the

restaurant :) i was so glad i ate like a fiend

beforehand, b/c i lost a lot of weight after surgery.

so it helped to have that " extra bulk " that i aquired

pre-op! :) good luck with your surgery!!!
