Guest guest Posted January 25, 2004 Report Share Posted January 25, 2004 I am now 11 days post-op and in the past two days have developed a very itchy face -- on my cheeks and along my jaw line. Since it is confined to these areas of my face, I'm assuming that it may be surgery related. It is so itchy I want to scratch my face off. I went back and read the thread on the itchy red bumps -- but I don't think there was any resolution on it. I am no longer taking any meds, so I don't think it can be that. Maybe it is just related to the excess oil. Does the excess oil cause your face to peel also? The best way I can describe my face is like when you have a tan and the tan starts to peel off, and it comes off in very thin sheets. Would this cause my skin to be so itchy? Help!
