Mouth cleaning

Hi everyone! Im still in the " early " stages of preparing for surgery.

I have brace..had them for 13 months now with the hooks. My mandible

is so uneven that Ive had to wear a splint for a year before I could

even get braces, now I have the splint again and have had it for 3

months. Tomorrow, Monday 26th, I see the OS for the official word as

to what is to take place. The ortho thinks I should have my maxilla

expanded...mandible brought forward and I dont know what to fix the

UNEVENness of my left condyle to my right. So anyway thats my story

so far and Im REALLY glad to have found this website, cause I think

Im REALLY gonna need people to talk with who are going through

the " same " things.

By the way..how long did it take everyone to get diagnosised... I had

headaches and everything else since a head injury in 1989.. dr I saw

at the time didnt beleive me about anything I told him..and said I

was just trying to get out of work HAHAHAHAHA!!!!! I couldnt believe

it. Head has hurt horribley ever since. Thank goodness for dentists..

(dentist figured out what was going on...THREE years ago).

Curious...how is everyone that has had surgery cleaning their

mouths?? Do you do a hydrogen peroixide wash?? Does it work? Anyone

tried white grease for the bruising and swelling??? (old wives trick)
