Guest guest Posted January 21, 2004 Report Share Posted January 21, 2004 Hello, my name is . I am new to this site. I am having orthognathic surgery on my lower jaw on Saturday, 24 January 2004. I am excited, and sometimes a little nervous as this is a cumulation of 3 years of orthodontic treatment,including upper jaw surgery done in April 2002. However I am not looking forward to the post surgery swelling, discomfort and hunger....I'm also scared of wanting to vomit after the surgery when I'll be banded. Can anyone relate to this?
