Hello everyone

I am 15 days post op from a bimaxillary osteotomay and genoplasty. My

upper jaw was moved 1cm forward and lower jaw 2mm back.My doc said

surgery went really well.

Anyway it seems to be healing, the swelling has gone

considerably..but still chip munk cheeks.

However, i woke up with many panic attacks I really thought I looked

unattractive and got very emotional the first 8 days.(cried for 8

days).

Now I am starting to see the results....but it is a very slow

process. I believe I must be patient. The numbness however is quite

uncomfortable for me....still quite numb on upper lip area and cheek

and chin...when can i expect some of the numb feeling to subside?

..

And also I cannot fully control my mouth ie smile>>> am i being too

impatient....this really bothers me.

Like to hear from those that have done similar surgery
