Probably. I hope ortho is all she ended up needing. That must have hurt to have those teeth rotted so badly. Ouch! > Straight tylenol was no problem I actually didn't need anything > more.. That's great. I hope the next time it goes just as easily for you. I'm sure it will. I actually thought the lower surgery was more painful so you should do really well with the upper. > But I hate to admit it but he was right...next time mind you I am > getting all the drugs and steriods. > (the steriods I didn't understand either as I have puffers for > steriods...but I guess being a oral surgeon > they aren't as comfortable writing scripts and handling special > cases) I think you're right. My oral surgeon didn't even want to touch me while I was pregnant and breastfeeding. Another reason why it took me so long to get the surgery but well worth it. > > A two week vacation from the breast at one is pretty hard to go back to. Actually it wasn't too bad. Lexi still wanted to nurse (then again she refused bottles when I went back to work when she was 8 weeks old and would go 12 hours without eating. Needless to say, not much fun for my husband but he wants another - go figure.) > My son I thought would be easy to wean...as from 2 months on I >gave him a night bottle of formula, > It was more insurance than anything for him and me. Aww. He sounds really sweet. > > I think good bite jealousy is normal, think of people with thin > hair > \except if you don't have hair you can't get it back...we can pay > for perfection in smilies. That's true. Wigs just aren't the same. Then again, it was a lot easier for me to fix my hair from mousy brown and gray to auburn. Luckily I have lots of it (especially now to hide my face) so I wouldn't know about the thin hair > =well you should have doubted the first one who told me that I could > file down my teeth, > it was probably my ortho's fault and that I was a pretty girls so > why worry about it.. I figured you probably ran from him! Did he think having nubs for teeth was okay? Isn't the point of this to save our teeth anyway? > > > >I delivered the easter turkey (ten and a half > > pounds and 23 inches) not a diabetic either! > That's not a baby. That's a toddler! Amazing! I thought I would be more like my sister. Her husband's " birth plan " was for her to go into labor during the night so she would sleep through most of it. They would have a leisurely breakfast before going to the hospital. She would have the baby before noon so he could go back to work in the afternoon. Her Lamaze class laughed but that is exactly what happened. My mother freaked out when my sister started scrambling eggs and making bacon AFTER her water broke. She was hungry and didn't know when she would get her next meal and nothing stands between my sister and her food! > > I realised how many > > women who claimed to be 200 were probably closer to three. My > brief > > pit stop at fat. > Yeah but you had an excellent excuse and an even better weight loss > plan! > =true between my dieting by dentistry book and breastfeed your > way to more calories than pilates... Oh yeah, that and my " drill sargent " mother who made me walk a mile a day starting 4 days after giving birth. > =true my cousin wouldn't shut up during her c-section kept asking > them if they knew what they were doing! > So they knocked her out. That was my husband but he knew better than to ask if they knew what they were doing. He just kept asking a million questions like our two year " What's that? What's that? That's her bladder? Cool! Can you make it bigger? " That one got a loud " Shut up, Beau! " from the OR staff. > > I think though once you are on the other side you are prepared to do > it again for good results. > I mean whats a week of your life recovering or the back pain of > sagging breasts? > How nice would it be to go braless...without your breasts being in > your pants? > Hmm might be worth it one day. I wouldn't know. There's not enough left of mine to sag. Just a couple of skin folds left. It would be tempting. One of my co- workers had hers done and a tummy tuck all at once. She was back to work within a week and said it wasn't bad at all. She's very happy and rumor has it she was showing off the results at the staff Christmas party ;-). If we can do " extreme makeovers " of our faces, why not go all the way?
