Hi Joanne

No words of advice - haven't had the experience yet! but I wish you

all the best for tomorrow.

Am seeing my surgeon this week, presumably to set a date and go over

the surgery - it looks as if I'll plump for the upper surgery as

well as lower - I can't face the idea of just having lower and then

regretting it later so I think I need to bite the bullet!!

Look forward to hearing back from you.

Best wishes

Sue (UK)

Hi Joanne,

Best of luck tomorrow with your surgery. I will be thinking of you.

I'm also having both my upper and lower done as well... my surgery is

the day after yours on Wednesday Feb 18th so I know what you are

going through right now. Be Strong.. everything is going to ok.

Take care... I'll see you on the other side.

Go to drugstore and get all the after surgery help aids you think

you could need.

On my list was Gravol.

Q-tips, a large syringe for pushing fluids.

Next time it would also include more ice packs.

Get you sick room in order :) clean your bedroom, get lots of

pillows. Get your favorite music handy, the more soothing the better.

* i also blacked out my windows for maximum rest.

Go out and eat everything crunchy.

Floss very well before the surgery.

If you have a husband, kids kiss them really well, as your lips are

fat and a little numb for a while after.
