Guest guest
Wow, three times in braces! You're tough! I am on my second time. I was advised that my braces didn't stick the first time because my upper/lower discrepancy was just too big. If I wanted to go without surgery I MIGHT be able to retain my bite long term if I always wore my retainer forever and ever. Although I will probably be cautious and wear my retainer extra long, I do hope not to have to wear it for the rest of my life, which will hopefully be at least another 40 years (I'm 35). I'm too soon postop to tell you if I've decided this whole thing was worth it, but so far I am doing well and am optimistic. And it definitely seems that most of the people here think the surgery was the right thing for them. But I certainly would not suggest this for purely cosmetic reasons. Hope this helps! christine > > Hi everyone, > > > > I have got a question here...
