Guest guest
Hi! Anyone have any good ways to reduce canker sores or at least reduce the pain? I usually rinse with warm water and salt and/or with Peridex mouthwash. I use Anbesol for the pain also. Any other suggestions? Love always, Johanne
Guest guest
Some folks have sworn by swishing around Maalox or Milk of Magnesia (and some dilute it with ingestible Benedryl). I can't imagine being able to put up with the taste, but it's worked wonders for some people... Guest guest
Thanks Cammie! If I get desperate enough - I'll try it > > > > Hi! > > > > Anyone have any good ways to reduce canker sores or at least reduce > > the pain? > > > > I usually rinse with warm water and salt and/or with Peridex > > mouthwash. Guest guest
I had a nasty case of canker sores when I was recovering too. Fiddlesticks saved my life (okay, maybe that's a tad dramatic) when she recommended Amosan, an oral wound cleanser made by Oral-B. My pharmacy didn't carry it, but was able to order some in for me. Not the best or worst tasting stuff, but it really helped. Good luck to you! > > Hi! > > Anyone have any good ways to reduce canker sores or at least reduce > the pain? > > I usually rinse with warm water and salt and/or with Peridex > mouthwash.
