And while we're headed in this direction:

Isn't it at least a little wacky that we subsidize tobacco so

heavily -- my mother's family is a long line of tobacco growers in

North Carolina --- and yet we make the naturing and nurturing of hemp

illicit?

I don't wanna smoke that either, honestly. But there are a jillion

products, good, long-wearing, nice-looking products that hold up

well, that can be made from hemp.

We live in a society that is in some ways truly weird.
