Guest guest
I can't really say it hurt badly. There is a bit of a shock for the first few days, as there is with any surgery. I had a Class 3 that required 12 mm movement performed on Nov. 17/03. There are the risks of general anesthetic, but not worse than tonsils or any other type of procedure. They gave me liquid codeine for two weeks, but I honestly did not need it. All I can say is " go for it " , the results are so dramatic that it is worth the liquid deit, the discomfort, etc...you'll be glad you did! Guest guest
I don't know if anyone has ever died fron this -like any surgery, the anaethesist is the person who is there to control and monitor your airway ,but I would give the pain 4/10 say compared to upper 5/10 and to gall bladder 6/10 and ceaserean(sp?) section 7/10 and gall stone pain 8/10, kidney infection 8/10 etc. So on the scale of pain, yes there is pain, but for me anyway, I didn't find it enough to warrant using the IV narcotics to get through. (I have had upper and lower jaws done separately and all of the other things unfortunately). > Hello you guys, I have what they call a Class III underbite.
