I just had my (upper jaw)surgery done a few days ago. I didn't think

my insurance was going to cover it but it went through, so just hope

for the best. If the Dr. thnks it has a good chance then I would say

has a good cbahnce of working out in your favor.

Hi,

The surgery, I suspect, is medical, and it is necessary, although you

haven't told us a lot about what's wrong.

You may have to fight to persuade your insurance company that such is

the case, but be of good cheer.

Having this surgery saved my teeth. Which is indeed medical (wanna

talk about the links between periodontal disease and heart attacks?).

Others have had much more serious troubles with tmj, migraines, sleep

apnea and many other results of the skeletal imbalances.

Your surgeon probably knows the insurance company, and can predict

(and deal with) its responses way better than can I. It's part of his

profession. Sounds like you have a good one, too, that he cares about

helping you through the insurance morass. Still, if you have to

fight, do so!

Good wishes to you,

Cammie
