That's great news, ! If you're like me, the soreness will go

away in a few days. (I'm thinking you mean your throat, because of

intubation.)

If you're nauseated, don't hesitate to use the meds. You don't need

to be fighting that while you're trying to get food in.

I wasn't ever worried about going out, but I'm used to being the

least lovely lady on the block. The cold is another matter, as many

find that cold weather makes healing faces hurt. Good reason to wrap

up in a scarf, though! ;!)

So glad things are better. Juices and protein shakes are good -- but

mix some ensure or boost in, too, if you can, to be sure you're

getting all you need. And wowee!! Up to a cup, already!

Waaayyyy too soon to be trying to figure out how you'll look

eventually. Just concentrate on recovering healthily and happily, and

let folks take care of you!
