Hi Laurie,

Sounds like you had similar surg. Was yours to correct an overbite?

or underbite?

I have been very very lucky to have the best Dentist,Surgeon and

Orthodontist... how lucky is that!

I have had 8 crowns redone since my surg. and still have a few more

to go. My bite needed some readjustment due to the old crowns just

were't fitting together properly after my surgery. Plus my crowns

dated back to the stoneage...

My dentist is Dr. Meyers in Encinitas...477 El Camino R. ste

325 ( I think) tell him I sent you if you contact him... He has done

a wonderful job w/ all the work needed in my mouth, both before &

after my surgery. The crowns he does are really so beautiful.. like

a work of art..and he takes such care to make sure the bite is just

right. Anyway, he will do a great job for you.

I am 57, but my husband thinks I lost 15 yrs w/ the surgery... I love

him!!! When my jaw was moved forward, it tightened everything up and

I guess it was kinda like having a partial facelift. I never expected

that so it was a fun surprise not only to have jaws that fit

together but also to look better as well... sorry for being so vain

but I am, what can I say...

I work in downtown S. Diego and my husband used to work in LJolla at

Scripps (Torrey Pines RD)... we could meet up sometime if you want..

Take care,
