Guest guest
Whine away. I think it's very natural for this set of problems to be consuming. It involves a lot of what we do and think and live. Appearance, talking, breathing, money, eating, etc. It's a long-term change, and there's pain involved, as well. And then there are those sweet folks out there who, not considering that they know nothing about orthodontics, dental treatments, oral surgery, TMJ, etc., insist, " You look just fine, honey! Your teeth look great to me. I don't see a reason in the world why you're putting yourself through all of this. " Humpf! Call my ortho and surgeon, if you wish, and they'll explain it to you, if you, as do I, pay for their time to do so. Let's go hypothetical. Suppose your husband suddenly discovered that he had, oh, maybe, scoliosis, or some other skeletal malformation. Maybe one leg was significantly shorter than the other. He hadn't noticed, and nobody's ever measured... But by golly, yes. His hip does cause him constant pain. And the ankles aren't quite right, either, and well, yes, the knees seem to be more troublesome than most. Not to mention the headaches, and that trouble in the lower back... If you found a doc, or a group of docs, who said, " Here's the problem, and here's what it will take to put it right. It's gonna cost, big-time, and be inconvenient, big-time, but we can fix it. " ... If that happened, would you hesitate in the least to postpone any dream you ever had to help the man you love? I wouldn't. And I'll bet you wouldn't, either. Best.
