SARPE and difficulty turning the expander?

I'm about a week into my SARPE expansion treatment. As time moves

by it is getting very difficult to turn the key. So much so that my

little key got slightly bent the last time it was turned!

I called my surgeon's office and they said a little difficulty is to

be expected.. but having to use so much force that the key bends?

Just seems a little strange.

Anyone have similar experiences?

You have to make sure you stick the key in ALL THE WAY into the hole

before cranking it and push it all the way it will go. Having to use

a lot of force on it is normal, after all you are pushing apart your

bone. Good luck.
