Guest guest
I'm in the exact same boat as you, except for you its school, and with me its work. I had upper/lower on 12/12/03. I'm completely banded shut---liquid diet. Tomorrow will be 4 weeks since my surgery. I have to remain banded shut until 1/28/04, then my OS says he will put on " looser " bands for another 3 weeks. Not sure what that means but I guess I'm on a liquid diet for another 6 weeks. I have to go back to work on 1/26. Physically I'm bored at home now and look forward to getting back to work and gettting my full paycheck. But I wont be able to talk. Very hard to communicate with people by writing all the time. My social life too has been on hold, and will continue for another month or so. Not much else I can say except to say that I really empathize with you and know exactly what you are going thru right now. take care. > I had my lower jaw moved back 4-6mm 3 weeks ago.
