Either month is fine with me, but both months have tax deadlines of one sort

or another on the 15th, so after the 15th of the month would make the

difference in me and other tax/accounting people being able to attend.

Thanks

Yes, I had forgotten, someone else just brought that to my attention,

too. It's not just our accountants/tax people that are affected,

it's us self-employed folks, too...last minute accounting stuff,

etc. Also, she mentioned that the week after is Easter, so that

might pretty much eliminate April, too.

So, just a reminder, if anyone wants to change their vote, you can do

that until the polls close or, as Sue said, we can redo the poll for

dates after 11/30, which sounds like a good idea, too.

I'm going out to buy my new dayplanner for next year, so I'll check

the Holiday dates then and post them.

Exactly!

when this poll ends, I'll set up another with more specific dates for

everyone to consider. this poll will at least narrow the months/weeks to put

in the next poll.

I know I'm late responding to this....(been a long day ya know!) but I'm

thinking that Easter week would actually be a good time. Income tax season

is over, most kids are off from school. Even those 12 month schools are

probably on track break. It may work!

Well, I don't think we should rule out June completely just yet. After all,

it is the #1 choice so far. I checked the ASBS website, and the convention

is scheduled from June 17-22. That's the 3rd week in June. So, the next

question is, for those who have to wait until their kids are out of school,

when is the last day of school? Any of them ending in June? Also, as Sue

said, the summer heat in the desert can get pretty intense. July may not be

too bad, but August is probably a little rough. But, first things first.

no, no--- my kids are in catholic school, and they only have Good Friday off.

go for summer time. that way we can spend 5-7 days. Once we have spent the

airfare, we want to stay a while and relax and see the town!
