I got a call from the doctor's office today and I guess that PHP requires me

to go on the optifast program for 12 weeks before the surgery. Which means I

have nothing but optifast for 4 weeks and then I transition back to regular

food for 8 weeks. Then, I go back on optifast for 6 weeks before my surgery.

And, theres a waiting list for people with my medicaid insurance. This just

sucks! I'm starting to think that it's never gonna happen for me. I'm really

bummed.

hi jess. question: is this the doc's requirement or is it a medicaid

requirement? if it's the former, how about a different doc?
