Guest guest
Lori H At s Hopkins there are 2 doctors. My doctor, who does the open RNY and Dr Schweitzer who does about 6 lap RNY's a week. Dr Schweitzer came to s Hopkins after I had already made an appointment with Dr Magnuson, who is the open DR. That is one of the reasons I was thinking that maybe I should start all over again with Schweitzer and the lap surgery. Then today in the messages is the story of the woman who died from a nick in her intestine. I would think that that is less likely to happen if open surgery is performed. I have called the assistant 4 times in the last week. She doesn't answer her phone or return calls. I'm in limbo. This is worse than waiting for the surgery----I don't have any idea when my RNY is going to happen. Sorry for blowing off steam and whining. > is this the only surgeon around? if i remember right, was letters > were faxed to insurance, couldn't have taken more than 5 minutes. > lori h. >
