Guest guest
Someone in the group (I thought it was Suzi, maybe) said they were told by their homeopathic that their system was too acidic already to be taking Vit c..then hcl would also be too acidic, I assume. I am trying to get this ice-water, hcl, acid thing figured out. Any help is appreciated.
Guest guest
It's my understand that having an acidic constitution and needing stomach acid are not the same thing at all -- the proverbial apples and oranges. In fact I asked the naturopath that since heartburn has been one of my issues in the past. He said that a lack of stomach can manifest in all sorts of other imbalances... And being " too acid " is probably more similar to (although maybe not the same as) having " too much internal heat " in the Eastern sense. If you're deficient in stomach acid, building it up should improve your digestion and help you to absorb nutrients (from food and supplements) better.
