Hi Kim:

A morphine pump was a consideration in my case years ago.

At that time, I did not have a CP diagnosis and I was going from

doctor to doctor and hospital to hospital with no real deiagnosis of

anything.

But my health insurance company said that they only approved pumps

for cancer patients.

Just as I was about to launch a campaign for one, I got my CP

diagnosis at The Cleveland Clinic and Dr. Gress joined the GI staff

at Winthrop Hospital, here on Long Island.

He asked if I wanted to try the EUS celiac blocks and I agreed.

The rest has been some happy history for me.

If you can get the pump, by all means go for it!!

There had been a national TV show about them a few years ago.

The patients, who suffered chronic pain from various problems, were

thriving. And no one was addicted.

I wish you lots of pain-free days.
