Guest guest
Dear , Our thoughts are with you and your family. I am so glad that they are really working on getting her better, it is best for her to be feeling better when she goes back to school. She truly will have plenty of time to meet and develop many friendship throughout the year. On the doggie issue, I would give it a little bit more time, but like Grandma Bev said, if the doggie is still nipping at the kids specifically " mean like " than she will need to find another home for your kids sake and yours. If it is doing it out of pure joy and playing that is another story. This is coming from of mom of 6-7 doggies, hee hee. I say 6-7 because we have one doggie from the neighbors that likes to visit. Take care. Sincerely, Christi (mom of three, one w/cf)

Guest guest
I am sooooo sorry that Eilish isn't do as well as all wanted BUT, if the doc is concerned , then she is getting good care & they are working on the bug. Bless her heart. I know that is so hard for her , as you said , to miss the school .BUT .remind her how many school years she has ahead :) with the dog problem, It sounds like maybe it will work out. , However, if she isn't getting better, then I wouldn't keep anything around that could even in the remotest way, get her more infected. It isn't worth it................OR WORRYING about one more thing. You deserve some peace too. if you have other pets , then this one will have a home somewhere else & do fine........What is important, as you have mentioned before is the kids health ......I agree with that strongly. It sure is nice that Liam is having fun walking the pups, It gives him a special thing to do as Eilish is at hospital .......... I wish the VERY best coming your way for all your precious family LOVE & HUGS, GrandmomBEV Back in hsp again Well the cf dr. came to see Eilish this morning. She still didn't like the sound of her cough so they want to keep her there for this week, which will make nearly a month. I feel like jumping of a cliffLOL!. The said there is nothing growing in the broncoscopy, which is a great thing, and they took a sputum last Thursday to see if anything had jumped in within the last 3 weeks and that also grew nothing. So why on earth is it lingering. I feel sorry for her that she is missing school and all the new kids will be forming friendships without her. About the dog snapping, I spoke to the vet and because he already new the kids (it was my mums dog) and has never done this before, he thinks he is just adjusting to our house, and to the other animals. So I'll give him a week to see if he settles down. I hope he does because the kids love him. Liam and I have just taken the two dogs for a walk and he is great at that. Have a lovely day Liam 8 wocf & Eilish 5 wcf - and still in hsp Grrr!
Guest guest
, I just wanted to let you know we are thinking of you and Eilish (and and LIam too). Try not to worry too much about school. All that will fall into place for Eilish when she gets well. I remember twice while very young I had to miss the first weeks of school for one reason or another and I still had good school years. Eilish will too. Hang in there! Guest guest
Dear , I am real sorry to hear that Ellish still hasn't gotten rid of her cough and is still in the hospital. I am sure it is frustrating for all of you. Our thoughts are with you. I hope her cough goes away and she gets to go back to school soon. - mom to Emma 2 years w/cf and Isabelle 4 years wo/cf On Sun, 8 Sep 2002 13:28:03 +0930 " Baxter " scottie@...> writes: > Well the cf dr. came to see Eilish this morning. Guest guest
, I know how you feel, My daughter has been on meds all summer and she hasn't been able to get rid of this crud, she is to be seen tomorrow by her C.F. drs and she may require another stay at the hospital, like Ellish she has a horrible cough yet there's nothing growing in her sputum test.
