Barbara,

if you have a chance, try checking out the following

website: http://www.hopkins-gi.org/ and do a search on

Pancreatitis. Read it all, especially the part on Chronic

Pancreatitis in the symptoms section. It mentions that you

CAN have pancreatitis without elevated levels. Print out the

material for the doctor if necessary. Feel free to be rude

to the doctors and staff if they don't help you.
