Guest guest
For details on which fish contain the most/least mercury, go to the website that I listed: http://www.gotmercury.org Very useful website. Guest guest
To all, My apologies for posting the mercury in fish information. I should have researched extensively before posting. - -- In pecanbread , " Jody G. Guest guest
> The following is from a flyer from Whole Foods market: > , Thanks for the info but....Whole Foods is not my choice as a resource for information although I love to shop there when in the money. They use Canola Oil in all their takout and defend the use. ( of course since we don't use " store bought " it shouldn't concern me but it reflects their choices) BTW: They refused to have us conduct cooking demos there as they don't carry our book. My advice is that even non pregnant women and both sexes should moderate the use of canned tuna and should avoid farm raised fish in favor of ocean caught even though it is seasonal. Frozen ocean fish is available all year. Elaine doesn't mention the mercury issue in the index of BTVC. She specified a lot about " what " to eat and not always " why " . There is some info about heavy metal toxicity at: http://www.breakingtheviciouscycle.info/testimonies/heavy_metal_toxicity.htm Moderation and balance whenever possible is a good protocol IMO!
