Luke can eat peanuts!!!

WOW!

This has been a big step for me. I have Jordan (7) who has had allergies (in the past) to peanuts (Lord healed him of that) and still we have to watch eggs, tree nuts. Well my 5 year old has never shown any allergies. Along came Luke, who is now 21 months old. I was careful not to give him anything with eggs for a long time. He finally had them at 12 months and did fine! Peanuts, I was VERY leery of , I was going to keep him off them till he was 3 or 4 ! Well, we finally tried him on peanuts! HE CAN EAT THEM! He is in the kitchen right now eating a peanut butter cracker and LOVES it! It was all over his face and NO HIVES! I am giggling here

Sheesh! I promised to share with you guys the story of Jordan and his peanut allergy! Sorry it took so long! Well, he was very young when he was diagnosed with a peanut allergy. We were driving to Greensboro, NC and I gave him a peanut butter nab, he was about 14 months old, and he started breaking out in hives all over his face ! He was screaming and crying and scratching all over his face. I (being a new mom) Had NO IDEA what was wrong with him! NO IDEA!! He screamed all the way to where we were going, and finally cried himself to sleep. I even now forget when we took him to the allergist and did a back prick that showed the allergy. Anyway, we kept him off peanuts, ANY TRACE OF THEM! One day, as I had been doing for a long time, I was praying for the Lord to HEAL Jordan of the peanut allergy. I kept thinking how horrible it would be for my son to never have a REESE CUP or a SNICKERS BAR!!!! Anyway, I was praying this particular morning, and I remembered I heard someone say, when you have been asking for something, begin to THANK THE LORD for doing it, even thou you have not seen it happen yet! Begin to THANK Him ! So that morning, I said "Thank you Lord, for Jordans peanut allergy going away!! Thank you for his healing!!" Well, as the day went on, Jordan came up (Out of the blue......) and asked for .....what else?? Peanut Butter!! He never really asked cause he knew he could not have it! But he came up and ASKED!! I started to say ......." Jordan, you know you can not have peanut butter......" when I was stopped in midsentance by this STRONG impression being put on my brain! The Lord asked me plainly......."DO YOU BELIEVE I DID IT OR NOT??" I thought , woooohhh!! I sat there a minute, and started to tell Jordan again "Jordan you know you can not have peanut butter......" When AGAIN that strong impression was put on my conscience!! DO YOU BELIEVE I DID IT OR NOT?? So, being the mother I am, I ran and got the benadryl (being cautious of course!!) and gave Jordan a big spoonful of peanut butter! Can I say PRAISE THE LORD!! He has been eating it ever since, and that was 4 years ago!!

I have pictures of him eating his first Reese Cup! I bought everything at the store that had peanuts in it, till finally, my DH said, OK, you can stop now buying all this junk food!! LOL!!!!!!

So finally I got to type and tell everybody how Jordan was healed by The Lord Jesus of his peanut allergy! Now, I am thanking Him for healing of the Eggs!!
