Guest guest
Hi and thank you for responding and offering to help. I have some questions for you and I will try to answer yours as well. My allergies are relatively new due to the Hashis. Ive developed them since August. The children do have food allergies as well, but my tests were negative 2 weeks before my first anaphlactic reaction. How do you clean the house of it and if Im around it, wouldnt I be reacting as I did in the hospital? I dont quite understand the difference between intolerances and allergies and how you test for them without having to go through bad reactions. Are you excercising daily? Taking low dose Elavil? No. I used to, but its too hard physically due to the Rheumatoid Arthritis; it hurts so much in my upper arms even to brush my girls' hair. It started as a little weakness, then my hands would be stuck in a clawlike position in the morning, now it feels as though heavy weights are pushing my arms down. Elavil? I dont know what it is. I take synthroid, singulair, hydroxyl. I had an allergic reaction to viox and allegra, go figure that one:} when Talli was diagnosed with Propionic Acidemia. If we didn't get educated on it she would die or have severe brain damage.I havent looked that up but I will to learn about it. How did you know something was wrong? That really sounds scary. I took pictures and kept notes on Kari-Marie when she was an infant and when I listed all the unusual things with photos for the doctor, I asked, isnt this cerebal palsy? And she said she wished more parents did things like that and that I was absoulutely correct and sent us to the specialists. Kari was our 6th baby and I knew something was wrong during pregnancy when she just didnt feel right. Shes another story, but a really great one. It is challenging making foods for all with this many people with different allergies. Its hard to keep it all safe for those needed without depriving the others. I tend to make just about 2 of everything that looks alike but has different ingred. With this many people and varying tastes I usually fix 2 different veggies also. I would definately be interested in learning more about the latex allergy. I thought it was mostly hospital things to avoid. I did find some info regarding latex paint since that doesnt bother me, theyre not the same thing as the gloves. Thanks again for the advice and willingness to help. Take care.
