Aspirin is not recommended after gastric bypass. It's kinda like an NSAID (or

maybe even is one).

If you are taking or thinking of taking aspirin to thin your blood, then just

use Vitamin E. You should be taking Vit E anyway. I had to go off the vitamin

E before my last surgery because it thins the blood and they don't want you

bleeding too much for surgery.

I was having issues with mother nature and I was told to avoid it at all

costs. Even children's aspirin ( was on that prior to surgery b/c of family

history of heart disease and my own high blood pressure as an

anticoagulant)....snip...
