It has worked great for us b/c you can make your own schedule. It would be great for Shane b/c then you don't have to worry about him missing school when he is sick or not feeling well. We had thought about it long before Sam had so many problems, but after last year and being sick ALL winter, we decided he couldn't fight off all the illnesses that Kayla would bring home from school. That was the final factor for us. It was wonderful during the last few weeks of my pregnancy! We are just now getting back into our routine. The kids enjoyed the time off (for Dec. and Jan.), but were ready to start again! I don't know, just a thought.
