Guest guest
Hey ladies! We took Sam to the specialist for a food challenge on soy yesterday. It took ALL day long. The end results- it looks like he can have soy. We are to move foward slowly though b/c he did have some funky spots on his back, but they never seemed to bother him. So we'll start by getting rid of the $37 a can of formula and starting on a soy formula. If that goes well over the next several days/week then we'll add in all other soy! We've also been given the thumbs up for getting rid of all meds for now. WE haven't been on any for quite a while, but not with Dr. permission! I did it on my own after we ran out and Sam was doing well! His Dr. says that since all is going so well, unless we start having problems we can just go without stuff! That makes me happy since I"m not wild on keeping my kid drugged if he doesn't need it! Now, if he needs it- I don't hesitate! Also got to see my surro baby yesterday! He is still a tiny thing, but is starting to get bigger. I'll send a picture or post on in the next day or so! The girls got to finally hold him, and just loved that! Sam was more interested in their "kitty"! We had a wonderful time, and they gave me a very nice ring with these hearts and small diamonds in it...........and her mom gave me a necklace with the same heart as the ring. They are beautiful! My heart was so at peace when we left. He is a cute kid, but I"m SOOOOO happy to not have a baby at this point! Anyway, life is great! We are getting snow right now. Supposed to end up with almost a foot tonight! Planning on starting our big house painting adventure tomorrow at some point! I'm very excited about all the projects I have planned! I'm feeling great and ready to change some things around this house! Guest guest
Hope the soy challenge continues to go well. It was so nice when we were able to add soy to Ethan's diet. Ethan 12/3/01 dairy, eggs, peanuts, bananas, cats, dogs (outgrew soy, corn, tomato) > > Hey ladies! We took Sam to the specialist for a food challenge on soy yesterday. It took ALL day long. Guest guest
Trish, That is such good news! Being able to save on the formula is a real plus. Hope all continues to go well! It was so nice when we could add soy back into Shane's diet, it gave him a lot more choices. How nice for the girls to see , it sounds like they were thrilled. I'm still amazed!
