Um....that is a hard one. Their nuggest have milk in them, but no egg. Sam hasn't had problems with it- BUT when they are playing in the play area- there is a GOOD chance of cross cont. from kids playing in there with/ while eating breakfast. I do let Sam play now and then, but I always have plenty of benedryl on hand- along with my epipen! :) Sorry she had the reaction! Hope she felt better quickly!

Did I make a boo-boo??

OK.. hopefully, I havent already made my first allergy mistake!! : ( Hopefully some of you pros can help me out here.

After a play date today we went to a Mcs playplace (I know.. YUCK!) for lunch. I checked the ingredient listings of what Sara ate today (the nuggets & some fries) and none contained any of the egg products (and I have a list of all of the extra names)... but before we left, she still blotched up all over her face, behind her knees and got a pinprick rash all over her belly.

Originally, my thought was her allergy was environmental.. maybe the cleaners that they use at these places, or the dust or mold that might be in the carpeting/ rubber matting... she gets reactions like these at photo studios and other play places (like Chuck E Cheese etc)... and it seemed to make the most sense.

But, now, I wonder if there was an egg cross contamination? I mean, they make egg mcmuffins there on the same equipment, right? Has anyone had a similar experience where you couldnt pinpoint the source? Do I have to keep her quarantined??? : (

HELP! : )

TIA!Carol & Sara - eggs
