Hey gang!

Sorry I've been MIA recently. Life has been busy and my time on thecomputer has been limited. Plus it was down for a couple of days last week:-)In the past month I hurt my neck and shoulder. After 3 weeks I went to achiropractor and found out I had popped a rib out of place and it wascausing my trigger points. After 2 appointments I'm good as new! Actually,I was a new woman after the first appointment. LOL. I'm going to see himagain next week, once for a check to make sure everything is still inalignment and again to start acupuncture for weight loss. Then stepped on something in the bathroom (we think the underside ofher potty seat) and sliced a big part of her heel off. It was bleedingpretty badly and so we went to the ER (why don't children at my house everget hurt or sick unless it is after 10 PM?). 5 hours later they couldn'tstitch it (too thin of skin) so they washed it and bandaged it up. Told me10-14 days to heal. It wasn't looking much better after about 6 days so wewent back to the Dr. this past week. He said it will take 6 weeks to fullyheal. I can deal with the progress on that timeline :-)In between Em's ER visit and the Dr. I fell down our stairs. Just slippedbut banged up my ribs and bruised my back and head pretty good. Taking iteasy due to limited motion and pain.Drew turned 8 yesterday! We spent the afternoon with friends and then haddinner, presents, etc. with them as well. Tonight we went to dinner withparents, aunt, uncle, etc.And to complicate everything more I have a big workshop tomorrow night forstamping and scrapbooking that I've been getting ready for.Anyhow, I'm going to make an effort to read what is going on with everyone.Welcome to our new members. I hope you jump on in and get to know everyone.Drew, 8 years, anaphylactic to peanuts, allergic to dogs, environmentalallergies, severe eczema, outgrown dairy!Mattie, 5 years, no known allergies, 19 months, no known allergies but avoiding all nuts until she is mucholder!

Thanks Trish (and everyone else). is slowly getting better. She is a

funny little girl at times. She has a complete fit when you remove her

bandages. I've taken to removing her socks (it causes her great concern and

she tells me on , on, on, sock on!) when changing her diaper since she likes

to run away naked. Mean perhaps, but it helps get the job done about 10

times faster!

I had a fabulous show! I was the one putting the workshop on. We did a

little gift box, 7 Valentine's Day cards and one St. 's Day card (I

ran out of red ink pads. LOL). There were about 25 women who showed up and

a bunch ordered from me. I think the whole thing was a great success

(though I did learn a few lessons to make things go easier next time).

Another friend wants to do another one at the end of Feb. I might just make

it a monthly thing (I wouldn't mind the extra money either. LOL).

Tomorrow is my first visit with the chiropractor for acupuncture. I've

started a weight loss plan and I'm going to try it for a little help.

I hope you are close to being all healed up by now :-) I was visiting a

friend at the hospital (she is on bedrest until she delivers, hopefully in 4

weeks) and we peeked in at the newborn babies. I thought of you and what a

wonderful person you are to have shared such a special gift with someone.
