Hey everyone! I am so glad Carol (Sarasmommy) referred me to this

group!

I am actually the one in my family that has the allergies. My son

has eczema and a supposed corn allergy, but I have the problems,

lol :)

After I delivered my son (now 5) I developed a peanut allergy. I was

getting HORRENDOUS rashes on my face and the dermatologist or

allergist were stumped. I reviewed my diet, elimiated the peanut

products (I had them almost every meal!) and it cleared. Skin

testing took over a year to finally show a significant reaction.

They then blood tested to confirm it.

THEN.... I delivered my daugher(now 2 1/2)... I would wear latex

gloves to wash dishes because the soap made my skin peel. I would

then get welts on my hand. When I showed the doctor, they blood

tested for latex. After the results I was given my epi-pen and a

medic alert bracelet. I also have a soy sensitivity since having

her. They are scared for me to be pregnant again.. who knows what I

will become allergic to! =o0

I have never had an anaphylactic reaction to these things, but

according my bloodwork I would explode (well, being dramatic now,

lol).

So....does anyone have an similar experiences or info? Would be much

appreciated!

Heidi
