LOL! It must have other types of tree nuts that are not declared on the package. Yes, If you have a tree nut allergy or a peanut allergy, they say to stay away from all nuts. Some people though may only be allergic to cashews and brazil nuts, but eat Almonds anyway. In my opinion, they would be stupid lol..but they still do haha

Hum.......I do wonder exactly what tree nuts Jordan is allergic to. I remember him having things like pecans and walnuts and never seeing an allergic reaction . But the test came back positive for tree nuts in general. He can eat peanuts, he use to be allergic. It is a miracle healing story that I will have to share soon with the loop! AN AMAZING HEALING God did on Jordan with peanuts!!

PECAN ALLERGY ALERT

December 19, 2003

TO: Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network Members

FROM: The Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network and General Mills

RE: Betty Crocker Triple Chunk Brownie Mix

General Mills is notifying members of The Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis

Network that they are recalling a limited number of 21.2-ounce packages of

Betty Crocker Triple Chunk Brownie Mix because they may contain undeclared

pecans.

The recall is limited to the 21.2-ounce box, with " Better If Used By " and

one of the following three code dates: 29OCT04CF, 30OCT04CF, or 31OCT04CF

on the box top.

The recalled Triple Chunk Brownie Mix was distributed nationwide in retail

stores. The problem has been corrected and no other General Mills products

are affected by this recall. No illnesses have been reported to date in

connection with this problem.

The recall was initiated after it was discovered that the pecan-containing

product was distributed in a limited number of boxes that did not list

pecans as an ingredient.

Consumers who have purchased 21.2-ounce boxes of Triple Chunk Brownie Mix

with this date code are urged to return it to the place of purchase for a

full refund. Consumers with questions may contact the company at (800)

446-1898.

This mailing has been funded by General Mills to be sure you are aware of

the situation.
