Guest guest
Ok, I read the couple of responses I got---and thank you for responding. But I am still confused. I am a type 1 diabetic, and sometimes my BGs drop low fast. I do not like using those tablets as they are waaay to dry and make me gag and I can't get them down. I usually drink juice, but I was looking for an alternative to carry around with me and this seemed like a good idea as it could be small and concentrated. The gels for diabetics I've seen are VERY expensive and only available online. The decorating gels I see in the supermarket do not seem to have any dietary information on them except the ingredients. I live in NYC and so my main concern is for when I am on the subway (I don't drive a car) or, say, in a meeting or in class or something. At my office I keep juice around. But those little juice boxes bounce around my bag and leak after a week or so. I will sometimes carry candy (Mike and Ikes seem to work well) but I worry about overtreating as, well, candy is good. ;-) So, this seemed like a good option. Soooo, can anyone make a recommendation to me? Or tell me the brand name of the stuff you use so I can check that out? Thanks much,
Guest guest
I carry a bag of M&Ms around with me. That way I can feed the low sugar problem without over doing it. It takes a little practice getting the right amount correct but it works well for me. Faith > Ok, I read the couple of responses I got---and thank you for responding.
