Guest guest
All this A1C talk.. now I have a question.. I had to switch doctors and in doing so, had to redo all my blood tests earlier than 3 months. This was earlier this year. When I first was diagnosed, my A1C was 11.3 EGADS! Of course, my blood sugar was at 400 too. Then, I started to take my meds.. a few months went by and my A1C went down to 6.5. Now, here is the question.. my new doctor did my blood work and my cholesterol, blood pressure and blood sugar was normal and I felt so good. He didn't take the A1C at the time..so, after the appt, he told me to do my A1C then.. I hadn't fasted or anything. It came back 7.8. Is that because I hadn't fasted? This past Monday I had blood work done again.. I was supposed to do it in June..but, I was a little late. Anyway.. my blood sugar has been pretty normal lately.. so, I'm hoping my A1C will come back low. tina ________________________________________________________________ The best thing to hit the Internet in years - Juno SpeedBand!
