So far, I'm making a big batch of cuc salad. Sliced 2 peeled cucs real thin. Then salted with about 1 tbsp of salt. In 3 hours will wring out the cucs and discard the brine. Then will add 3 tbs vinegar, 1/2 chopped onion, 1 tbsp splenda, 1 tbsp oil and let sit for 6 hours. Tiff I also do this, but after the brine part I put sliced onions and ff sour cream on them, add some vinegar, splenda and pepper.
