> 2 cups water

> Full 1 cup (6 oz) finely diced Dubuque 97% fat-free ham or any extra-lean

> 1 cup shredded carrots

> 1/2 cup finely chopped celery

> 10 ozs (16 oz can) canned great northern beans, rinsed and drained

> 10 ozs (16 oz can) canned pinto beans, rinsed and drained

> 1-3/4 cups (14-1/2 oz can) stewed tomatoes, undrained

> 2 cups (16 oz can) Healthy Request tomato juice

> 1/2 tsp minced garlic

> 1 tsp JO's Chili Seasoning or any reputable brand

> 1 tsp dried parsley flakes

> 1 tbsp lemon juice

> In a large saucepan, combine water, ham, onion, carrots and celery. Cook

> over medium heat until vegetables are tender. Add great northern beans,

> pinto

> beans, stewed tomatoes and tomato juice. Stir in garlic, chili seasoning,

> parsley flakes and lemon juice. Bring mixture to a boil. Lower heat. Cover.

> Simmer

> 15 to 20 minutes.
