have had type 2 for about 12 years now and it has been in control

till a few months ago. Now my fasting blood sugar is above 7 and that

is not too good.

One of my diabetic friends told me that he tests his blood several

times a week, before and after eating and that way he can regulate

this diet. Is this a good way?

Pls. let me have your views.

Thanks

Hi, the reason this is a good idea, is because you learn which things you eat

make the biggest jumps in your bg's. If you have the chance to do this

(enough strips) keep a journal along with it. This will tell you more about

your

own body. Different bodies tolerate different things ;-) So, yes, it is a

good idea! Hugs, marilyn
