Guest guest Posted July 5, 2004 Report Share Posted July 5, 2004 This past weekend, my oldest son informed me they were going to recall servicemen that had served and were out. When a servicemember serves, they have a time of " non active duty, approximately 6 or 8 years after they served " sorry can't remember the number. I heard on the news that they are going to be reactivating people who were done with the non active status, recalling them for duty as they need 85,000 more troops. I call tjis the draft reenacted. These people had done their " time " and started lives, who is going to pay their $2500 or $3500 mortgage payments while they " reserve their time " ??? I am not happy ab out this.
